	Here is a glossary of some anatomical and medical terms that will be important to your understanding of ED. A simple definition of the terms and some related facts are provided.

There are two main types, the LDL (low density lipoproteins) and HDL (high density lipoproteins). Excessive levels of LDL cholesterol can increase risk for heart disease. Over time, high blood sugar levels can damage nerves and blood vessels, and hamper the process of erection.
